Period “op art” vase for the West German studio of Rosenthal. Featuring a white matte bisque porcelain body designed by Manfred Frey. Highly glazed interior. This is an extremely large vase in a rarely seen pattern that looks like raised coral polyps in incredible detail to both the front and rear face. “Rock like” striated sides running vertically down. Model number “3568/32” embossed below along with a gold Rosenthal logo set within a printed black oblong. Measuring 325mm tall by 110mm wide by 70mm deep. Circa late 1960’s / early 70’s.
