Vintage pottery Scandinavian wall plaque from the Danish studio of Søholm based on the island of Bornholm. Featuring twin birds in raised relief finished in glazed blue and biscuit tones. Designed by Noomi Backhausen and signed accordingly in the lower front right corner. Complete with various impressed Søholm marks to the rear along with a metal loop wall hanger. 325mm in length by 245mm high by 35mm deep. 2.2kgs. Excellent vintage order. Circa 1960’s. Noomi Backhausen joined Søholm in 1966 working alongside Paul Brandborg, the couple producing several pieces collaboratively.
