Important early Poole pottery Delphis Bowl. Painted by Jean Millership circa late 1960’s and carrying her personal mark to the rear. This actual plate was photographed to be included in the 1995 Hayward Atterbury book “Poole Pottery” (see final image) Classic “orange Peel” glaze. Poole dolphin logo to the rear in the earlier blue tone dating this piece to between 1967 and 1969. Measuring 270mm in diameter by 165mm high. Minor restoration to rim as noted.
