Superb mid-century Scandinavian brutalist sculptural wall relief by the Danish artist Henrik Horst. Featuring his signature torch cut steel abstract design set against a hessian background. Framed in a simple timber surround with wall hanger to the rear. The metal components have a stunning patinated effect in various copper oxide tones with random pools of silvered colouring as shown. This is a large impressive example of Horst’s work and very heavy. Measuring 905mm by 417mm and sitting off the wall approximately 50mm at the deepest point. Offered in excellent vintage order. Circa 1960’s Denmark. Henrik Horst was born 20th November 1942 in Denmark.
