Mid-century modernist trough vase / fruit bowl from the English studio of wade. Futuristic “jetsons” design with pierced detailing stood on three angular tripod feet. Twin tone colour combination of subtle grey to the exterior and baby pink within. From the studios harmony range in production between the years 1957 and 1962. This cutting edge form produced at the height of the “space race” went head to head with the works of Albert Hallam and Colin Melbourne of BESWICK fame. This example still retains its foil studio label as shown. 237mm in length by 180mm wide by 135mm tall. 850gms. Excellent vintage order.
