Original palette art work by noted artist Nell La Marsh. Oil on board composition Titled “Girl Playing Guitar” Measuring 915mm by 610mm. Nell Le Marsh, of Ukrainian parentage was born in 1934 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She was raised and educated in Leamington, Ontario, taking up teaching as a profession. After moving to Toronto, she perused a natural talent and began serious painting in 1963. In 1964 she began her heavy “palette Knife” technique on burlap. Her work is permanently displayed at La Casa de las Americas, Toronto and Les Galleries de Renee- Detroit.
