Lot Details

An Abridgment of the Holy Scriptures, Rev Mr Sellon, GB Whittaker, London 1826; A Sketch of the Denominations of the Christian World 11th ed, John Evans, Hodson, London 1808; The Church Catechism Explained, W Baxter, Oxford 1839; Notes Explanatory and Practical on the Acts of the Apostles, Albert Barnes, Knight & Son, London 1847; The Scottish Protestant vol I, James Gibson ed, WR McPhun, Glasgow 1852. Abridgment: front cover nearly separated, rear hinge cracked, loss and wear to cover, some water staining and foxing, binding tight. Denominations: marbled leather cover with gilt accents, slight insect damage toward back, some foxing and water stains. Catechism: wear and slight warp to cloth cover, handwriting fills endpapers, binding strong. Notes Explanatory: spine cloth separating at front hinge, hinges cracked at endpapers. Protestant: marbled covers and page edges, illustrated throughout, front cover separated, one page missing.
