Hayward’s Auction House are holding one of our classic tool auctions, and as usual we’ve got a great range of tools, hardware, gardening, sport and hobby equipment on offer.
Due to Covid 19 Alert Level 2 restrictions, our upcoming Tool Auction will be held as an online timed auction. This means that the auction bidding will be run totally online, but customers will still be able to preview the items in our rooms as usual, provided that they fill in their details in our Covid register or use the COVID 19 tracer app. You will be able to place bids on items that you are interested in from 9:00am Wednesday 19th August, and the auction will start closing at 12:00pm midday on Sunday. This means that lots will automatically close every 30 seconds, but they will automatically extend by 1 minute if there is last-minute bidding.
We understand that some of our customers may find Timed Auctions difficult. If you would like to bid on an item but you don’t have access to the internet then please talk to the staff in the office and we can help you leave your bids.
If you have any issues with usernames or logins or any other questions about the online auction process, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
