Vintage, Antique & Collectable Timed Online Auction

12-16 March 2021

Auction starts at 6:00pm

Hayward’s Auction House is having another of our popular Vintage, Antique and Collectable auctions and we are now ready for viewing. We’ve got a great selection of antique, vintage, retro and more modern furniture, collectables, paintings and prints, ornaments, toys, books, art glass and fine china.

In fact, we’ve got an unusually wide selection of fine china this time around, and if you’re a fan of Royal Albert, this is your auction. We also have Poole, Clarice Cliff, Susie Cooper, Aynsley, Royal Doulton, Grafton, Coalport, Wedgwood, Maling, and all the usual suspects – teaware, dinnerware, cabinet plates, figurines – and eggcups! Seasoned or budding eggcup collectors will be thrilled to see hundreds of them arranged in specially designed eggcup display cabinets that are also for sale. And we’re hoping that the Crown Lynn swan aficianados will come and have a look at lot 358 and tell us exactly what it is – it’s marked No. 170 and we’re calling it a closed-neck swan.

We have numerous original artworks including Roy Dickison, Graham Brinsley, Brian Halliday, Janet Weir and ltd edition prints by Raymond Ching.

We’ve got a big circa-1900 school cupboard with internal shelves and various health and safety notices and letters pasted to the inside – fascinating reading. There’s also a massive double door G.H. Griffiths safe, a door from Carisbrook marked “Referees Only” a German harmonium in need of some TLC, a wind-up HMV Gramophone, a retro Radiola, a mod orange and white Ralta dome-topped pedestal record player, a reproduction Eames lounge chair and foot-stool, drop-front, roll-top and partner’s desks, cuckoo, mantel and pendulum wall clocks, leather settees, club chairs, and armchairs.

We have a few large extending solid wood dining tables, and dozens of balloon back, slat back, carved back and other quality dining chairs, display cabinets, a rocking chair, a rocking horse, an antique cash register and glass-cased precision balance scales. You will also find vintage books, cameras, jewellery, sterling silver items, and a gold pocket watch presented to a local hero in 1902 for saving the life of a drowning girl – complete with newspaper clippings.

Woollen Persian floor rugs, hand-made quilts, vintage tin toy trucks and tractors, wood-framed photos, paintings and prints, furs, reproduction Tiffany and nouveau style lamps, and many more fascinating items to check out, in person or online.

Thank you to all of our customers for their continued support.
